Zimbabwe

Maybe not every person knows this country-Zimbabwe is a small country in southern Africa. Why do I suddenly pick it up?Since I just got some figures of that country which is surprising me a lot.

1.The capital-Harare is the highest cost of living city in the world.

2.The notes-Zimbabwean dollars have ‘expired date’,normally that is half a year.

3.Every foreigner will be a billionaire once entering into that county.

4.The amount 8 years ago may get a luxury bungalow, the same amount can only get a tin of coke in this January and a quarter of it now.

5.80% citizens of the country have no work. One forth people of the country have to get work abroad.

6.To take a bus,you should prepare 15 million Zimbabwean dollar;to pay for a bill of a restaurant,it will take more than 30 minutes to collect the notes.A bread selling along the street is 20 million Zimbabwean dollar;at the same time, the monthly salary of a middle school teacher is 0.9 billion Zimbabwean dollar,it can only buy a 5L vegetable oil.

What causes all things here?A horrific inflation rate-100000%.Simply speaking, that means the price is increasing 1000 times every month. You can get your delicious soup today in $1,next month you have to pay for it $1000.

So comparing with the current inflation rate in China and Malaysia,8% and 3%.All things are telling nothing, right?huh…We are quite fortunate.
