Earth Hour 2009

If you find me in a dark night or won’t see me online from 8:30pm – 9:30pm on this coming Saturday(March 28,2009),that means I would be fulfil my responsibility and promise as I’m a human being who lives in the lovely earth.

Global and world warming is going to be a more severe issue.Earth Hour is a worldwide activity as switching off your lights or cutting down any other unnecessary electricity during that specific hour.Your action will be treated as a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming.

WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

We only have one earth.I believe that one-hour darkness will give us more sunshine in the future.Loss little but win huge, that absolutely is a great deal.

Men,if you see it, I do hope you could do it.You know it’s a meaning of being a man too.

Just do it right!

  1. India would be participating for the first time in the Earth Hour campaign this year.

Aamir Khan – noted Actor and Filmmaker in India is the face of the Earth Hour campaign in India.

India is getting ready to make Earth Hour a huge success on 28th March 2009. All participants for the Earth Hour event are required to sign up for the event on the official Earth Hour India website.

Some have also come up with the innovative idea of initiating a facebook cause (http://apps.facebook.com/causes/241272/53755819?m=5300b008) to get wider exposure for the event nationwide.

    • Wow,so glad to see more and more cities and countries are participating the meaningful campaign.I feel that once more individuals come into it,every hour would be earth hour then.

I wish your guys gain the success. :)
