Tomorrow(July 22,2009) people in Southern Asia,most parts of China,India and some parts of Japan could see the total eclipse of the sun in the morning.It is said to occur again after 300 years in Shanghai.However,In Kuala Lumpur we could only see the slight partial eclipse of the Sun.

According to Wikipedia,a solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth so that the Sun is fully or partially covered. This can only happen during a new moon, when the Sun and Moon are in conjunction as seen from the Earth.
