DiGi announced today that they are starting to offer a new prepaid plan called ‘DG Prepaid Smart Plan’.Compared to the Postpaid Smart Plan,the prepaid one seems to be much suitable to the young generations who are using smart phones to make calls,send sms and surf Internet by mobile network because the new prepaid plan is a kind of bundle combines with voice minutes(for all networks),sms(for all networks),mms(for DiGi network only) and data volume.

The call block is 30 seconds.

This prepaid plan is quota-based plan,that means once you use up some quota(eg. data volume),you will be unable to use the service until you reload again.

DiGi also mentions that there’s no throttling speed in this plan.So I guess in some HSPA+ covered area,people using this all-in-one plan could reach at least 7-8Mbps download speed if DiGi really means it.

The only plan can beat this new DG plan in Malaysia is U Mobile’s Unlimited Mobile Internet Plan which features 100 voice minutes(for all networks),30 sms(for all networks) and 500MB(with no throttling speed and limited speed after 500MB) monthly for only RM28.

Which one you think better?It depends how you use your smart phone.
