Resort Cafe and Kampong Restaurant

My girlfriend and I had a Genting trip on last Friday.We took the buffet dinner at Resort Cafe and Kampong restaurant.It was priced at RM37++ for adult.

The dining area is quite simple but nice.

the dining area We reached there at around 5:30pm.It was very early for a dinner,so only a few people in the restaurant.

They provide Asian foods mostly-Chinese,Indian and Malaysian style.First of all,I picked up some Indian dessert as I really was attracted by their colorful patterns.

Indian dessert I had to say that all those were so so so sweet.Sometimes I felt that I was eating candy bar.Maybe they were only suitable with those sweet lovers.

After being attacked by the sweet stuff,I decided to take some light/smooth taste foods instead.

The pasta dish was delicious.

The mushroom soup mixed with wheat bread was a good match.

The salad dish was wonderful because they really have many choices for it.

The left large dish was my main course of the night.However,it was just average.The noodles with cabbage soup was nice.The fried fish was crispy.The egg was too salty.

My girlfriend was satisfied with curry laksa.It could let you choose the preferable foods putting into the curry soup.

Perhaps the chef in the restaurant does like sweet.We just had some small pieces.

At last,I took some fried prawns,grilled chicken and steamed chicken.Still just so so.

My girlfriend had some plain porridge with Tofu soup.I like this too.

Thus,the overall is just okay.I paid it at RM50 for two person because I had some discount voucher.I think the restaurant still has a long way to make improvements on their food stuff.

Genting Trip

KL city is so hot in these days.Thus,my girlfriend’s parents decided to go to Genting highland to have some entertainment yesterday.Yes,we headed to casino there.I don’t know why,but I found that most Chinese people like gambling and so do I.(Well,I’m not a boy plunger however.)

You know that the casino boss surely will be the big winner.So every time when I enter casino,I never hope myself to get a grand prize.I got loss suddenly at the beginning and after some hours,money came back.Another hour later,my money was still on that level.Finally I thought my luck was until that and I’d better to spend that little gain elsewhere rather than on this gambling table.

I treated my girlfriend,Kah Wei and myself a good high-tea in Bakery.Here’s the pix:

We went back home after taking this late high tea.We do enjoy the fresh and cool air there and happy eating time.That’s the greatest thing! :D

On last Sunday,My girlfriend and I had a walk at Sunway Pyramid.This is the first time of our formal visit after the expansion of the shopping mall.We took around 4 hours there and had our lunch there too.

My girlfriend suggested to have some steak.I know that Tony Roma’s which is quite famous on steak and seafood has a new branch there.So we decided to have a wonderful lunch in that restaurant.We orderer a combo dinner set of boneless beef rib with chicker tender and a cup of orange juice which can be free refilled.

Ichiban Boshi

Today is a very busy day because a group of friends and I walked at Pavilion and KLCC for almost the whole day.We ate sushi and sashimi at Ichiban Boshi again.I felt that foods there were much fresher than what we ate last time. We ordered bulks of dishes as we all were very hungry.

Since Vivian and I went to PC fair at KLCC in the late morning,Vivian wanted to buy a laptop and a digital camera.Yes,we finally finished our mission before lunch time which has been over 3 pm.Sorry to every body who was waiting for us for hours. :D Girls bought a lot of shirts as now it is during YES(year end sales) which there are a lot of promotions.

If ranking by the gains of today,Vivian will be the first.She is surely so happy that she has got her brand new Toshiba laptop and Panasonic Lumix FX 33 digital camera,whilst she bought some clothes too.Of course her wallet is really being hurted.I think she certainly will spend some time on blogging of her great New Year gifts which are from her own. ;p

Tired…Tomorrow I have to stay at home for my exams…

The Gardens in MidValley

It’s a shopping season.New shopping malls are coming forth in several days.Last Tuesday My girlfriend and I went to Gardens in MidValley to have a look and buy some stuffs.

Because when we arrived there,it was about to take a lunch.So I led her to ‘Din Tai Fung’ which is famous on Taiwan style Steamed Dumplings.We ordered mixed wontons,grilled pork fried rice with eggs,beef noodle soup and of course,steamed dumplings.Yes,we really took a lot because I was very greedy and hungry. :P

I think that lunch is quite good and price is not too expensive-but still RM40/person is necessary.After lunch,we just walked around this new shopping mall.As we know,this is for those mid and high-end brands so that once you come there for shopping,you’d better to have enough budget. :)

But from my comparison between The Pavillion and The Gardens,I prefer this one.With a compact and simple design,we can really enjoy the place comfortably and easy to access from one side to another.

Well,unfortunately not 100% of stores are open yet .I think it is likely to fully open until next January at least.I hope at that time the traffic situation over there can be improved a bit.
