Several hours ago,Google finally held a live conference about its new products:Google Wallet and Google Offer.In fact,it’s not too new as many tech experts have predicted that Google would apply their NFC(Near field communication) devices into some sorts of mobile wallet.Well,now it comes true.

The latest Google Nexus S has NFC inside.Google claims that a special security chip is also setting in the phone so that when the cellphone is activated to make payment,the chip will secured the privacy during the transactions.

To use of Google Wallet is very simple,only few steps will be taken to make your first purchase.

• Make sure your cellphone is NFC enabled and your credit card is supported for Google Wallet.(currently only Citibank Mastercard or Google prepaid card is in the list)
• Install Google Wallet in your mobile phone and then log into it,set up your wallet PIN
• Add first card in Google Wallet with filling up some necessary information(quite similar with making an online transaction)
• Submit the card information and wait for the approval from the bank
• Receive the confirmation from the bank and now you can use your phone to make payments on merchant’s Paypass POS(currently only available in some partner stores)

I like the idea so much as it could definitely ease the whole payment process and let the shopping experience much happier than ever-no more long queue needed.

At the meanwhile,Google Wallet can add your royalty cards and discount vouchers too.That’s means when you’re shopping at some places with royalty card and discount vouchers,when you make the payment by Google Wallet,it automatically records the transactions into your royalty card and so you entitle the rewards/points immediately,of course,you could get some discounts too as the vouchers work for you.

Is that amazing?Well,Google Offer will satisfy you more.When you explore Internet and find some offer,the only thing you need to do is to save the offer in your PC and it will sync into your mobile phone.The offer will apply while a purchase is matched and paid by Google Wallet.It’s just that simple.

Well,after Google Wallet expands to worldwide,I can throw away the whole pockets of cards and let them sleep at home.I will feel less weight.But how long should I wait for the day coming?  :P

Previously I was using Philips 17 inch CRT monitor.It had been used for more than 3 years and recently it started to request for retirement.Last Saturday I approved the application of retirement and went to buy a new one instead.

Samsung 2243SW+ is a full HD 16:9 LCD monitor which is capable to 21.5 inch.It has 5ms fast response time,50000:1 dynamic contrast and HDCP function.From my experience,the overall performance is very suitable for a family user who wants to use it surfing internet as well as playing games and movies.It costs me RM579 in All IT hypermarket at Digital mall.I think the price is quite fair too.Now my home workstation looks like more professional,right?

If you think that stuff in PC fair surely is cheap,you are wrong.

Yan and I went to PC fair on last Friday and she was looking for an All-in-one printer.We just walked around there to collect the price info first.After all,we thought Canon Pixma MP145 fits the requirements and it was only selling at RM199,however,without any gift.We thought it was cheap.

But later when I checked the price in Lowyat Plaza,I recognized what I thought was totally wrong.It was only tagged at RM175.Yes,it was a 14% difference.

Thus,please don’t think you could always get the cheaper goods in PC fair.In face,if you want to save some money,you still have to do a comparison on price before you buy something.

That’s a golden rule.

That was the Valentine’s Day we had.My girlfriend arrived Mid Valley shopping mall first and she had a walk there seeking a gift for me.This time she picked up a nice fragrance-Burberry Weekend For Men to me which I had mentioned several times before.Well,since I’m such a pragmatist,I’m so satisfied with this gift-Fragrance is one of my necessities.

Thank you my darling.I love this wonderful gift and I love you more.However,I didn’t prepare any gift for you.So sorry about it.I believe you can understand it and I do promise you that in the future,days will be more colourful than current ones.

My girlfriend told me that Burberry was promoting this new series of fragrance called “The Beat”.She got a trial pack and let me try it.It smells sweet,smooth and natural just like standing in a fruit garden.I think that will be another successful product.

We went to see the movie “Pink Panther 2” in the afternoon.It’s a comedy and we felt that the movie is just modest,perhaps we liked the previous episode more.Well,it still brought a lot of laugh to us.Worth watching!

After the movie,we decided to a new restaurant having our dinner.We went to “Canton-I” in LG floor of The Garden Shopping centre.It provides Hong Kong-style foods and snacks.We all think the foods were delicious although the price is a bit upon fair.Sorry,we just enjoyed the foods immediately and forgot it snap them.So please just enjoy the bill!

We ended our day of romance here.Is that simple?Yes.But we feel good.I believe that is the most important thing-the feeling of happiness.

We watched “The Wedding Game”  last Sunday.It’s a qualitative product as my prediction.The whole story is telling the real facts happening in show biz,but the conclusion is warm because false masks are finally defeated by true loves.Thus,we smiled not only because of funny,but also because of things we learnt from our deep hearts.So wonderful!

After the movie,my girlfriend suddenly said that she wanted to play puzzles.I totally agreed with her and so we headed to a puzzle shop in MidValley.Thousands of choices are putting on the shelves.My girlfriend chose a set of Disney puzzle with Mickey Mouse(Sagittarius),totally 204 pieces.All right,I bough it to her.

Well,I think she may only pay her interests in seconds while shopping.She never touched it in the next two days and so I got to play it.In the first day,I took 2 hours to finish the alphabetic part.I have to say that 204 pieces in total are not a big amount,but each piece is so small(1/cm*0.5/cm) that I have to spend more time to filter out the right one.My eyes were definitely tired!Perhaps I need to feel lucky that my girlfriend didn’t choose a 1000-piece puzzle on that day.

In the second day,Kah Wei helped me complete the 1/3 of the rest part and I went to fix all others.Luckily,after another one hour,I made it as a whole.It looks like so beautiful.

Completing a puzzle is not a hard thing,right?

My girlfriend and I just past a normal holiday. We went out to get a casual breakfast in Jalan Mega Mendung and then moved our steps to the nearby Parkson shopping for some commodities, such as drinking containers. The plastic bottles we are using(PET 7) were said to be unsafe for daily use, thus to buy some new bottles(PET 5) are necessary as I don’t want to save my bucks with losing my health.

We also bought a pack of bread and some slices of Cheddar cheese for our lunch as our digestive systems have a bit disorders recently and light foods may helpful.

After this abstemious shopping, we came back home and spent the whole afternoon in front of PCs-She played online games while I was checking out news and surfing other blogs. The day was so ordinary until my girlfriend told me that she had bellyache again. In fact she felt it 1 week ago. However, it was not painful continuously so that we thought it could recover soon. Unfortunately it wouldn’t be our expectation. Thus, I persuaded her to see a doctor at once.

Because today is a public holiday, most of clinics are closed. Finally her father drove us into the nearest clinic POLIKLINIK KUMPULAN CITY in Jalan Awan Hijau which works 24*7.After 5 mins diagnosis, the doctor told us that the pain may be caused by a slight food poisoning with the symptom of disorders of digest system. Four varieties of pills were given. I hope it could relieve her pain and kicked out the ailment as soon as possible.

That’s my plain Christmas, yet I have my wish too. I wish my friends and family could be healthy and wealthy forever.

My girlfriend has a paid holiday today,thus we planed to have a walk.Formerly we wanted to head to MidValley shopping mall,but there were no parking available.So we had to go to Berjaya Time Square instead.My girlfriend,her friend and I grouped for the short trip.

Well,Christmas has been a grateful holiday for those young guys regardless to religions.Santa,therefore is so popular and stays in almost every corner as we can see,of course,as well as Christmas trees.

When we reached there,we’d been very hungry and look for a restaurant was our priority.Kenny Rogers was suddenly shown in my girlfriend’s mind.So I just followed them.

It was not a nice lunch.We ordered our dishes quickly after we got our seats.Firstly,we ordered three quarter meals but 30 minutes later,we were informed that only 2 meals could be provided currently and another one needed to wait for extra 30 minutes because the chicken was still grilling.That was crazy.So I changed my order into a dish of Macaroni Cheese.After another 15 minutes,all were served on the table.I tried the chickens.They tasted well,but not my Macaroni.It was overcooked so that I felt like eating something pulpy and insipid.I did regret to have such a lunch.

We had a sole walking after that because they were seeking girl’s stuff and I has listed mine.Do you want to know what I bought?That will be my next post.

Totally we were there for only 3 hours.We bought what we need and went back to the home at once.You know that kissing others’ toes is not my interest.

Well,I don’t think I will treat myself as meat,but how about my doggy’s thought if my body smells like meat?

It should be seen as a new example of diversification.But in my opinion,if the smell is really as it says,being flame-broiled meat,I will never accept it.Imagine that you’ve a huge piece of meat in your doggy’s eyes.It’s a horrible thing,isn’t it?

All right,I just stop here.I think I need to wait a hero to test it by spraying this perfume(could be ordered online) and tell me how he/she felt and what his/her pet’s reaction is.I hope that won’t be another surprise.

The purchasing procedure is the same as other online shopping website:register account,select item and make payment.I picked to deliver the goods by courier service.After 5 working days,I received the goods which was sent by Skynet.Once I opened the box,I was shocked.

Thus I immediately sent out a complaint email to their customer service department and they replied to me as followed:

2 days after I received this email,I got my ordered item and this time the item was at a good condition.

I have to admit that this is not a nice online shopping experience as from ordering to receiving the final well-conditioned goods,it takes 3 weeks by courier service(charged RM12).The Quality control on delivery and efficiency of the company need to improve,otherwise I don’t want to take any other order there again.What do you think?

Today is a very busy day because a group of friends and I walked at Pavilion and KLCC for almost the whole day.We ate sushi and sashimi at Ichiban Boshi again.I felt that foods there were much fresher than what we ate last time. We ordered bulks of dishes as we all were very hungry.

Since Vivian and I went to PC fair at KLCC in the late morning,Vivian wanted to buy a laptop and a digital camera.Yes,we finally finished our mission before lunch time which has been over 3 pm.Sorry to every body who was waiting for us for hours. Girls bought a lot of shirts as now it is during YES(year end sales) which there are a lot of promotions.

If ranking by the gains of today,Vivian will be the first.She is surely so happy that she has got her brand new Toshiba laptop and Panasonic Lumix FX 33 digital camera,whilst she bought some clothes too.Of course her wallet is really being hurted.I think she certainly will spend some time on blogging of her great New Year gifts which are from her own. ;p

Tired…Tomorrow I have to stay at home for my exams…

I think Asus Eee PC‘s release is a very good news for those young people who need a pretty PC to do some normal things like surfing Internet or edit some files.There are 3 models:2G surf,4G and 8G with different specifications.Now it has been officially released in Malaysia,though at the beginning stage only 4G model is sold at RM1499(you can be an early bird in order to get RM200 discount.)

But the sources said that other models will be available within 2-3 weeks.

Through the testing by Engadget,when it works at Microsoft Windows XP professional edition,to open Excel need about 18 seconds;but to open IE,it only takes a moment.So I think it can satisfy some children’s need and attract them by its lovely outlook and light weight.But the bad thing is,its harddisk is not big enough and has been a big limitation.As some report said,after installing Windows XP Pro and Office,only 500MB is left in 4GB SSD.

Some friends of me like the idea and design very much,but be afraid with its limited capacity.Will Asus create more higher capacity models?I think it will,but may not be so soon!
