AirAsia shows its support to Thailand

After shocks from unstable politics in Bangkok,it seems to come back to be peaceful. The country’s travel industry has been crisp and many potential visitors may have perished their intentions on travelling to Thailand.

AirAsia starts to give out its pushing hands. It shows the support by flying to Bangkok and across Thailand for FREE.The booking period is only 3 days from 17 to 19 Dec 2008 for travelling from 6 Jan to 31 Mar 2009.

Get your Baht to Thailand

The free seats promotion just past in last November and now another fantastic bargain comes out. However, this time is not only about a few sugarplums, but also about some assistance-helping Thai people to rebuild their economy.

To my way of thinking,Thailand is a peaceful country without these political wrangles.Kind people, delicious foods and beautiful sceneries give us thousands reasons to have a trip there.

You know you could take the chance and gain more, don’t you?In addition,to tell your friends this news is also laudable. :)

Booked a trip

My friends started to plan a trip for next year once they saw the advertisement from AirAsia-free seats with no fuel surcharge.Of course,my girlfriend and I was in that group too.

We have to think about a lot since most of them need to work and others need to plan under a particular budget. And after all,we booked a trip to Bangkok again at the end of July,2009.It only costs us RM145/person including admin fee and tax for a return trip.

The official website had a very heavy congestion so that there were always some errors appeared when I was doing the booking. So after trying for many times to book online,I chose to book through the mobile portal(which would be charged for RM1.5).It seemed to be very easy and smooth.Several minutes later,I paid for the total fees by credit card and finished my task at last.

However, now I realized that there were no options to choose for checked baggage, meals and insurance(the items are exclusively payable in AirAsia) etc. while doing the fill-up workings. That means I have to pay for these fees additionally in airport and maybe not with a discounted rate. It’s not fair.

I had submitted my question to AirAsia customer service department.I hope they can give some reasonable answer or provide some appropriate solution to me.

Did you meet such kind of things before? What was the result?
