Dinner party yesterday

Yesterday night my girlfriend’s family and I went to have a dinner party to celebrate her maternal granny’s birthday. You could imagine that hilarious scene where around 100 person sitting together. What a large family! :)

Of course, alcohol is a sort of necessity on the table and this time we took wine.

wine(1) I believe westerners will never love the way that Chinese people drink because most of us will finish a glass(not goblet) of any alcohol in one shot.At that night,I was persuaded to drink two glasses with that “quick style”.I have to admit that I’m really not good at drinking.Fortunately two glasses of wine didn’t touch my utmost yet.

Nevertheless a pity guy was there. After vomiting, one uncle of my girlfriend was just sleeping on the chairs.I don’t think he felt comfortable at all.Is that the meaning of drinking?I disagree. That is perhaps another bad habit/custom in Chinese culture.

I have some tips to help avoiding drunk.Hopefully they will work on most of you.

1.Full of your tummy before drinking.

2.Take some milk before drinking.

3.Do not mix up different kind of alcohol.

4.After drinking, eating some fruits such as apple.

Please don’t ask me the reasons since I only heard it before from some “professional alcoholics”.Working or not,you try it by yourself. However,I still need to emphasize that improper drinking is not a good idea.

From 8am to 8pm

We,the friends of Elaine, managed to plan a nice day for her to celebrate her birthday and we ran it today.

Firstly,we jogged together and actually had a mini picnic there.

quite a number of foods...Fruits,sandwiches,KFC and others were full of the table. We all ate a lot until we couldn’t move our steps.Well,a jogging exercise had totally turned into a food party. This was the very first program of the day.

We’d bought dozens of movie tickets for the afternoon session.Which movie?I just disclose here that it’s a funny and meaningful movie and for sure I will write my review asap.

After that,we again had our dinner together in the hawker’s street of SS2,PJ.Various foods and snacks induces our bellies.
