Electrical train with Diesel

This is what they are doing on KTM Commuter trains recently-the public transport service which provides the routes covering the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor to link to the city centre.

As what I know, the frequency of the service hasn’t been changed for more than 5 years, with at least 20 minutes of waiting time. However, during the years, the population in such areas has increased many times and still going up.So the fact is,trains are crowded in most of time, but the service quality is decreasing because the trains are always overused with bad maintenance. In order to keep the normal service,KTM has to utilise Diesel locomotives on some electrical cars.

KTM train with Diesel locomotive Is that a quite unique scene?

My route(2)

Today I accompanied my girlfriend to meet her customer in one railway station.Where is it?You guess it first.

Two trains…

*(KTM Commuter and Star LRT train)

And that place has another train passing. It’s KLIA Express(Transit).Once you sum up all information above, you should know where it is.Well,it is Bandar Tasik Selatan Station which is near Cheras. There are 3 different trains integrated in almost the same place by linking some skybridges.

I don’t know why I like railway so much. But I really like the feelings when I’m taking on a train along with its swing and hearing its sound from its tracks and wheels. That’s very cool…(The farthermost way by train for me is from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok.)

Sharing with you some other pics.Hope that you like them…
