Receiving new,replaced credit card

Last Thursday,I just reported that “Credit card info was stolen” which informed by HongLeong Bank customer relation department.

Today I’m surprised that I had received the new card in the afternoon.All the details about cards are remaining the same because it is just a replacement.But the design of the card is different which is a much current used design.Which one is the nicer?

I quite enjoy the effecient service and response from the bank(It is not an apple-polish).From my experiences,nowadays we can not prevent those online transactions that they have already been a kind of trends of shopping because of rapid growth of online shopping.At such time,we can not easily confirm which websites are safe enough as there are a lot of bugs on platforms and softwares.And more and more faked websites are showing around.A quick response and effective monitor from bank side is like a firewall for customer to reduce the risk from frauds.

Credit card info was stolen

Today I received the call from HongLeong Bank which informed me my credit card info was stolen by 3rd party from their investigations and they now had terminated my account and to process a new account to me.

I’m so surprised that this kind of things can be happened in my side.I’m really carefully to treat every credit card transaction and I occasionally miss to check those “Trust” logo.I just think about,I only booked a hotel room in Hotelclub recently,which I think it’s quite ok because it is really an old brand amongst those online booking websites.

Fortunately,I checked online statement yesterday which is the latest.Everything looks as normal,no special amount shown on it.So I’m just waiting for the replacement of the card and hope to know where the information of my card was leaked if possible.

But my conclusion is credit card transaction is not so safe as we ween yet.

*I do thank HongLeong Bank can do the traceworks as their responsibility and inform their customer quickly,not just waiting the things happen.Good example!
