Google Chrome on TV

Google now starts to promote the browser Google Chrome on TV.The latest video clip is saying how convenient the extensions on Google Chrome work.

I have to admit that I am a Google fan:I’m using Gmail to send and receive emails;I’m using Nexus One which is a Google phone with Android system;I’m searching stuff by Google search engine;Even now I’m open Google Chrome to write this blog post.Google is everywhere in my life and that’s what Google’s doing-try to touch into everybody’s daily life and it is the exact way that Google generates income.

Well,Google is not satisfied with what it’d done and wish to go further to attract more attentions from potential users.TV advertisement is really a good way to go.

Do you like this video?I like it very much as it’s showing how technologies could help us build up a warm memory.Guys behind Google are too smart.

Opera 11.10

There are many web browsers out there.People may always confuse which one is suitable for their daily use.For me,I always use Google Chrome and Opera. The former one is light weight, loading fast and having quite good compatibility with most websites;the latter one is loading even faster because of the function called Opera Turbo, but sometimes not compatible to some websites.Hence,I always use Opera when I’m in a shared, busy network such as in Starbucks.

Opera has turned into 11th edition.Through years of  improvements ,it has been much better than before. It now can supports widgets and add-ons,and also provides Opera Link for synchronizing bookmarks, type history, notes etc. and Opera Unite for sharing files in the cloud under the same account, working as media player, photo sharing service and web server etc.

In Opera 11.10,the Opera develop team makes great movements on enhancing the performance. Here are the great points on the latest version:

Internet Explorer 9

After several betas and RCs,the final version of Internet Explorer 9 is on the table. From the past testing,I really feel that IE has changed a lot. Many people dropped IE to use other browsers because the old IE always has errors occurred during surfing and performed quite bad in terms of loading web pages and java scripts.

Well, the weakness are gone after paying great efforts to make IE better enough competing with other browsers, such as Firefox and Google Chrome.Let’s hear how the people feel on this latest product this time:

IE9 has 9 reasons to let you install it.

Badly,IE9 can’t support to install in Windows XP and older systems. That means some old computer and netbook users can’t try it neither.

Frankly speaking, although IE9 has claimed to be the fastest web browser in the world, but from my real experience,Google Chrome still performs a bit better than it.However, the changes are remarkable as we can see.

The automatic update of IE has been rolling out. However,if you haven’t updated automatically and you wanna get it immediately, please try to get it in this page and install it manually in minutes.Enjoy!

Happy 5-year-old birthday,Firefox!

It’s 5 years for me to use Firefox too.I remembered that I just wanted to try it at that time and amazingly I’m never going to drop it since then.Compared to IE,Firefox is of better performance, rich facilities and more securities.Of course, now we have some other good browsers to choose such as Safari,Google Chrome and so on.Anyway,Firefox did all greatly and I do wish it could last long with all pros.

Happy Birthday,Firefox.

15 years for Internet Browsers

I just know that Internet Browser is still quite young.I had 12 years experience on computer and Internet Browsers only have 15-year history.

Internet Browsers

I think most of people use Internet Explorer at the beginning when they start to surf Internet because IE is integrated in a large number of PCs installing Microsoft Windows. And if you’re an Apple fan, you’d probably use Safari currently. However, the first Internet Browser is neither IE nor Safari. It was called Netscape which had been out of our eyes for long time.

More options here compare to 15 years ago.Now except IE and Safari,we also have Firefox,Opera,Google Chrome and so on.They all want to hit the No.1 seat belonging to IE for years and I do believe it could happen within a near future.I use Firefox always because it has better securities, less bugs, faster speed of loading websites and bulks of useful extensions. So I can’t give out any single reason to back to IE yet.

How do you think?Which browser(s) you prefer to use?

Google Chrome OS

Google announced yesterday that they wanna join the game to create a new operating system which combines all needs of the people who live in the web.

As the past launch of Google Chrome-the slim web browser is quite successful, they hope that the new OS-the extension of Google Chrome could be light enough to be installed and used in netbooks. They also intend to make it be available to other computer markets(laptops and desktops) which may cause a face-to-face competition with Windows 7 and Apple Mac OS.

Anyway,as a consumer,I think most of us are willing to see more choices on the shelf. All right!Just wait for one year and we would be able to try the brand new OS.
