Moving hosting service provider

I have used Hostmonster for at least 5 years,it’s good because they have live support and can help to solve the problem almost immediately.However,the renewal cost is quite high.

The current hosting contact period will be ended in this year,so I was looking for some hosting providers which could make value for money and also with great performance.Finally, I found some popular Malaysian bloggers are using DataKL as their hosting service providers and they all feedback with good words.

So I choose DataKL now.Currently I’m still restoring databases and files as well as some other tuning work will be doing thereafter.Interruption will happen during that period and I will try to minimize it.

Hosting service changed

Well,previously I used Exabytes which is the No.1 hosting company in Malaysia.I’m quite satisfied with its service.But as they indicated me of overloading memory resources of the server,I have to change to another hosting.

Why would I choose this one-HostMonster?Since I googled on a key word ‘web hosting’ and I saw a lot of people thumb up on it.Through the past days communicating with customer service,I think it’s really providing quality of service and at least they are willing to give a helping hand to their customers.

I hope this nice image will keep on.

I think I have figured out the problem

As you may mention,my website always displays ‘service unavailable’ with no predictions.Indubitably it is caused by high CPU and memory utilization on my shared hosting server that I had talked for many times.

That messed me up because I tried thousands ways to optimize my blog in order to prevent the issue occurring,but failed all the time.Recently I visited a lot of support forums which are concerning on WordPress Platform and I found that there are a number of people who meet the same problem with me.They all pointed the problem into database.

So I checked it out by phpMyAdmin and saw the sizes of some data are unwonted and redundant,especially under wp_option which is 1.3MB.I deleted some unnecessary lines and cron to clean up the database and went back to Option-Permanent links to update it.Then I checked again under wp_option,there has been down into 200KB only.

I refresh my blog for many times and till now it works nicely.I hope when you meet ‘service unavailable’ issue here,leave your words to me so that I can keep monitoring and going to fix the issue as soon as possible.And if you have any idea to help me do better regarding to that matter,you’re most welcome!
