Yesterday,iPhone 5 was officially introduced in Apple event.iPhone 5 is claimed to be the slimmest and fastest iPhone up to date.
iPhone 5 has a quite-iPhone-style appearance, however,it’s actually redesigned from inside to outside. This latest iPhone is claimed to be 18% thinner,20% lighter and less 12% weight than its predecessor-iPhone 4s.
But less weight doesn’t mean to cut anything,in the contrast,it’s still being enhanced.iPhone 5 features a 4-inch retina display. That will definitely give you more convenience to type and read stuff.Apple also said that the new display will show a vivid and lifelike effect, even better than iPhone 4S.
LTE support is another revolution in this phone, providing up to 100Mbps connection. At the same time,iPhone 5 also supports HSPA,HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA in cellular network;Dual-band 802.11n WiFi connection up to 150 Mbps.Apple said they’ve done a lot of optimizing work on better battery life, especially for LTE connection. However,we could only see the result after the real testing.
A6 chip is first time to use on iPhone and it’s not only performing better than A5 chip(CPU & Graphics),but also saving battery life-twice faster than A5 chip with up to 8 hours of browsing on a cellular connection, up to 8 hours of talk time, and up to 10 hours of video playback time.
The latest generation of iSight camera now can support panorama shooting and the front-facing camera can support 720P HD video shooting.
Apple also introduced the new lightning 8 Pin connector, making it smaller, smarter, durable and reversible. You could get 30 Pin adapter to support your old i-devices too.
Apple also officially released the new maps designed by their own. It’s said to be much smooth and responsive than the old Google Maps, giving out real-time traffic information and reroute automatically. But will it run that great?I have my doubt.
Siri in iPhone 5 could answer you more, including sports scores and stats, where to eat, what movies to see — even ask Siri to make Facebook posts or tweet for you.Of course, more languages will be supported soon.
