New trains for KTMB

Hearing of buying new trains from Transport Department as well as KTM Berhad,finally we could see the true face of the new trains.

New KTM train The new train is made by Hyundai Rotem  with Mitsubishi design and will be used on Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh route of ETS(Express Train Service) initially.The designed max. speed of this train is 160km/hour,however,it will only be running at 140km/hour maximum in the current route,spending 1 hour and 55 minutes for the single trip.

The new train is a new hope for a lot of people.At least we now know that KTM is doing something improving their services.I just wonder know when they want to increase more trains for existing commuter services and when the ETS will be extended to Penang/Singapore.

I think for all I mentioned,I still need to wait for longer time.

DiGi Turbo 3G

Mobile World Magazine firstly reported this news.I think most DiGi users will be happy to hear this.However,some people will be upset when they get the full story because the information up to date only says DiGi Turbo 3G will land in Penang and Kota Kinabalu on October 22nd,2009.No other places are listed in the picture.

DiGiFrankly speaking,I like this name ‘turbo’.From my understanding,turbo means boosting on speed.Thus,DiGi Turbo 3G should be a kind of higher speed broadband plan,perhaps packing with 3G voice service too.I guess the reason DiGi doesn’t want to introduce this new service in Klang Valley is either some delays on upgrading of hardware/software there or some physical testing/enhancements going to be done in Penang and Kota Kinabalu initially so that the most popular area-Klang Valley will get the best performance later when DiGi Turbo 3G being introduced one day.

Anyway,I’m still waiting to hear the official announcement to clear my mind now. :)

Private: My Penang trip

A nice trip,tired but happy.It was beginning at night of Friday,took a bus to Penang.The bus made some kidding to us.It should be 8:30pm for boarding,but we got it at 9:30pm.Through a 5-hour journey,we arreived the bus center of Penang.It was around 2am,all people were sleepy.

Just after 6 hours,we started our compact journey.This time,we all want to eat more Penang food and enjoy the relax time.So food is an important part,of course.We ate a lot of local cates and visited some temples,making some fortunes-well,I still believe I can handle my life though.

For those girls who were together with me,they cutted their hairs to create a new style and welcome a clubbing night.The hotel I stayed is at a quite nice place which is a real travel site.Pubs,restraunts,bars are the leading actors.The girls dressed up,made up and looked for a fire at the night perhaps.hahaha…

2 days time is so fast past,but the happy feeling is still here.I think I’m quite satisfied with this trip.And I saw an old and different sight in Penang,which is having a museful feeling.
