What is Digi thinking?

If your guys noticed the previous posts about Digi Broadband,you will find that the usage volume allowed is very different between pre-launch promotion and official packages.

In the pre-launch promotion,the month usage quota is 50G.However,current packages only could allow up to 20G at the subscribed speed.It’s a step-down.

The good thing is some of early birds had posted up tests on normal use including video streaming and the speed is freaking fast.Dave showed his experience here and contributed a video sharing with you.

I hope Digi can revise the packages as soon as possible and make them more attractive and competitive.I do hope!

DIGI 3G broadband stands

I had introduced DIGI 3G broadband pre-launch packages several days ago.However,I did not mention clearly at that time that in its terms and conditions a 10GB/month fair usage policy was applied.I think DIGI had heard the loud voice on that terrible policy from its potential customers as 10G usage/month is definitely nothing for most heavy users.

Thus,DIGI makes the change fast.

DIGI 3G prelaunch promo(2) Now,the monthly quota of usage has increased to 50GB.I don’t know others,but for me,it’s just fit and fair.Nowadays I use Streamyx 2M combo and I estimate to utilise 1.5GB daily by watching online TV,downloading and surfing Internet.

The good thing from DIGI 3G broadband is it provides up to 7.2G downlink and comparing with Streamyx,it’s still cheaper.

DIGI 3G is really on the way

From Telco Talk Malaysia,it pointed out that DIGI is designing a new website for its upcoming 3G service and related pre-launch promotions have been introduced there.

DIGI 3G initial coverageThe areas are Bandar Utama, Lebuhraya Sprint, Mutiara Damansara, Damansara Utama, Damansara Kim, Damansara Intan, Lebuh Bandar Utama- Dataran Bandar Utama, Lebuh Raya Damansara-Puchong, Sunway Damansara and also a small coverage area in Persiaran Setai Alam.
