Lenovo X1 leaked with a super-slim body

Lenovo X300 series were pioneer products of ultra portable laptops although many of other brands’ laptops surpassed them later,in that list,Apple Macbook Air is a very strong competitor.

Well,it looks like Lenovo is going to fight back.Lately Engadget got some snaps from a Swiss e-tailer Tell IT systems and other online locations that Lenovo X1 is ready to go into the market with great performance and sexy body design.

The source says Lenovo X1 is 21.5mm thick, installed one 8GB RAM,an SDXC card reader and a 1366 x 768 resolution display tagged at $2,920 which is not cheap. It will be delivered on May 20th,2011 from Tell IT.

Comparing this latest model of Lenovo X series to Apple Macbook Pro,which one will you choose? In fact,I don’t think it’s hard to decide:for a business man,he will choose Lenovo;for an entertainer,he will definitely choose Apple-all are because of their designs.Am I right: :)

By the way,I do think Lenovo priced its X product line too high.

Umobile gonna let you fly

Yup,Umobile has the latest slogan of its new broadband service asking that ‘Why surf when you can fly’.Well,Umobile  introduces HSPA+ in some selected area which could boost the connection up to 42Mbps,meaning that is twice as faster as Unifi-the FTTH/VDSL service from Telekom Malaysia.

You should pay RM450 for HSPA+ modem support up to 42Mbps downlink and the monthly charge will be RM40 for 2GB(additional usage for 5 sen/MB) or RM68 for 5GB without extra charge for excessive usage, but fair usage policy applied.Umobile also offers RM20 monthly rebate for 5 months.

Well,it’s a wireless service and so the limitation will be quite obvious, such as higher latency and more congested network. However,HSPA+ could be performed better than HSDPA on those mentioned issues. So I think if you are the Internet user who want to feel the flying feeling on surfing Internet and don’t care about the cap on volume(FUP) and higher latency compared to wired broadband,it could be great. How do you think?

I hope Umobile could update the coverage map soon. :)

iPad finally landed in Malaysia officially

alt

I think Apple fans have waited for long time to get it.Well, most of them maybe have bought it from other unofficial sources. But for the rest of them, they could get it now with the lowest price in the world.Yes,the retail price of iPad is that cheap.

I heard that iPad 2 will be in the market in the early months of next year.I believe that is the reason why the prices in Malaysia are such low as they want to sell as much as they can before that new release.

Do I want to get it?Well,it’s cool. However,I think currently my Nexus One could work very fine for me.Perhaps I will see whether iPad 2 has any attractive functions that worth me to buy it. Smile
