Google Maps Turns on Traffic and Transit for Malaysia

At the moment,I only see that ‘traffic’ layer is available now in Google Maps Malaysia, but the feature of ‘transit’ layer is still in grey.

It is weird because the official Google Malaysia twitter account announced the good news that both have been available in Malaysia, but it turns out another result.

Maybe there’s some small technical glitch.Well, wait to see whether the features will go online later.

The traffic layer is showing the live information and transit layer will show all public transport options, all could help us plan our daily routes. It’s just great!

Cheers!

A Trip to Singapore(2)

I have a habit that I like to write down some notes of attractions before a trip and also the ways to turn up there.I know that Singapore is a small country with a highly integrated public transport system. Thus,I believe I can easily get everywhere that I want to be by that way.

This is a very detailed network map.The nearest MRT station from my hotel is Novena station, which is around 2KM away. However, there is a bus stop just around the hotel.I think I will take buses for many times during this trip.

EZ-link card will be my helper. To use EZ-link card can let me get some savings when I take a ride on the public vehicles. The card can be found at any ticket centre of MRT stations/Bus interchanges and costs S$15(consisting of s$3 refundable travel deposit,non-refundable s$5 card cost and s$7 travel value) and can be valid for 5 years. When using EZ-link card to pay for MRT/LRT/Bus fare,I will automatically enjoy a 10% off compared with a normal fare.Meanwhile,it will not bother me to have a long queue in order to buy a ticket, especially in a peak period.Hurray! Is that a good idea?

Well, here are three options to get into the hotel after I reach Habourfront Centre where the bus will stop.Which one is the best? Please recommend one of them to me and I will really appreciate your help.
