Days ago,Maxis introduced a group of new mobile internet plans called ‘ultimate plus,ultimate pro and ultimate solid,together with the official release of HTC Flyer.

With subscribing ultimate solid plan,customers could get an HTC Flyer with only RM195 cost after 24 months.Don’t be so happy since ultimate solid plan itself is not cheap at all.

That means you should pay RRP for HTC Flyer first when you subscribe ultimate solid plan and get RM96 monthly rebate for 24 months with actually paying RM152 monthly to enjoy the service.Most people still play with those tablets as sort of  entertainment devices on the go,I don’t think 16GB is really needed as nowadays quite a number of places have free WiFi connections. The latest promotion from Umobile was just popped out 2 days ago.It’s buy one free one promotion with Nokia X3/E5.

You could choose either Nokia X3/E5 as your primary phone and pay as retail price when you subscribe U Value/Plus/Premium postpaid service.Umobile will rebate the subsidies to you over the contract period.

After that,you could get a free Nokia X3 with subscribing U38 plan and pay an upfront payment by credit card with auto debit(RM380) or by cash(RM500).The upfront payment will be in full over 10 months.

I think that’s a quite good deal for somebody who is not willing to get those advanced and expensive smartphones(iPhone,Android phones etc).Are you interesting on them?

DiGi 3G voice and data service

Please be noted that I’m not talking about broadband service.It’s the services used on phones.

As what I know,the 3G voice calls are only available among DiGi users only and the coverage is still restricted in Klang Valley,Penang and Kota Kinabalu.You can check the details of the coverage here.On the other hand,DiGi has two choices of plans:Internet Unlimited Max 5(1-day plan) and Internet Unlimited 58(monthly plan).DiGi is very nice to prepare all the comparison charts to you.I bet you could choose the right one.

Internet Unlimited Max 5

The daily usage limit is 100MB for Internet Unlimited Max 5.Over the limit,you still can get the connection with no extra charges,but slower speed.Internet Unlimited 58The monthly usage limit is 3GB for Internet Unlimited 58.You also will meet the slower speed if you’ve been over the limit.By the way,RM10 monthly rebate is currently given to all existing DiGi postpaid users who sign up this plan.The rebate will last for one year,making RM120 savings for you.
