Who would be in your list of the powerful people in the world?

I posted the 50 most powerful people in the world several days ago and many visitors had read it and some of them had left their comments and additional remarks.However,the list will never be the best because we always have our own lists in our heart.For me,I want to light one person up-Wen Jiabao(Premier,China).

We know China has been going on the year with disasters,crisis and challenges-snowstorm at the beginning of the year,Sichuan earthquake in the middle of the year,Beijing Olympics and now the financial bailouts.Wen,leading the country’s cabinet,is doing his best effort to deal with all those matters.

Frankly speaking,from my observation,the economy in China suffers deeply because this financial turmoil and this situation is much worse than people’s estimations.Wen has to take the responsibility to stabilize the country’s economy first in order to help people go over the hard time,besides,he,as a Premier of a conscientious country,must correspond and communicate with other leaders to work out effective solutions and at the same time achieving a political balance in his sagacity.

That’s the reason why he is entitled in my ‘powerful people’ list.So who would be the one you think supposes to be in the global elite?Welcome to state your reasons in the comments. :)

Last Day Last Chance

Well,today is the last China Lament Day.Merely I don’t think the bad memory will be erased by today.Time is passing away and to those families in the disaster area,that means less chance and less hope will be given to rescue their loved ones.

The number of dead people caused by Sichuan Earthquake has reached 40,000 and increasing quickly.I hope that can be the end of the pain.

The losses caused by the earthquake have been CNY 200 billion( US$29 billion).However,we can see that helping hands are all over the world.

The king of Saudi Arab has announced to donate US$50 million cash and US$10 million goods to China recently.In the meanwhile,Sir Run Run Chaw(Founder and Chairman of TVB) personally donates HK$100 million to disaster zone;The governments in Hong Kong and Macao have donated more than CNY300 million;Shanghai government had donated CNY12 million and Shanghai citizens has donated CNY100 million till now…

This is a very small part of donations as friends and foes reach out to aid disaster zone continuously.I really need to say thanks to all people who are helping my country to pull through this deep end.I’m surprised on all things happened.But again in this time I do feel the hearts all over the world are linked.

The sad news is it has been 72 hours after the earthquake.Therefore it is rarely to find out any vital signs.According to that,we estimate that the victims of that earthquake will reach 50,000.

The government may help those survivals to rebuild their home.Who can help them to heal their wounded hearts?

In the past several days people in Sichuan can’t have any good rest.People were afraid that the earthquake may come again.In the meantime many people are waiting for the information from influenced scenes because they haven’t known the fate of their family members or friends who were in that area.

There are more than 100,000 soldiers and armed police devoting into emergency rescue and disaster relief.But as the affected area is huge,a great number of victims are involved and many hospitals collapsed,the processes of rescue are really hard.

Till now it confirms that more than 15,000 people dead and at least 60,000 people’s status are unknown.I just hope that less people will suffer the pain from this disaster.

It ought to be big news of yesterday.The earthquake happened at around 2pm and probably people all over China can feel the shake from the deep ground.

The earthquake magnitude is 7.8.It is the most horrible earthquake in ten years.Till now it has taken ten thousand people’s life and millions of people have to stay outside and get no connections with other cities.The central government had sent out groups of army to assist for rescue.

From last year end snow havoc,the latest hand-foot-mouth disease and current earthquake,all tremendous calamities came within half year.That is not only testifying the ability of the government,but also testifying the great resolution from our Chinese people in the corner.

I believe we can do it well and recover quickly to face the world in order to go on running the Olympics successfully.
