Surf Internet slowly again

I don’t know whether this is a kind of “seasonal diseases”.Yes,my freaking lovely Streamyx line is having some problem again.Now I can get visits to local websites(in Malaysia) well,but not these foreign ones.I guess the international link for TM is dead.

This messy situation has been 3 days till the date and currently there is no announcement regarding to this issue.Is there any undersea cable failure?Or any connecting station having difficulties?

I really hope TM Net could let us know what it happens and give us at least a simple announcement for it.I don’t think any person could pay the bill happily with enjoying half service.I think it’s a chance for calling me getting my bed earlier.Well,I want to see the improvement after I’d been here again tomorrow.

Get rebate from TM Net(3)

Do you remember in last month I asked for rebate from TM Net?I received the monthly bill for the current period and the rebate had been accounted into the bill.

TM billWell,finally I saw some positive movements from TM as they did the process of rebate request much faster than what we expected,right?So I hope they can improve the network as fast as they can too.Just wait and see then…

I received the first Email regarding to the rebate request on Sunday.Yesterday I received another email from TM Net customer care support telling me that my request has been approved by management.

Email regarding to TM Net rebate requestIt looks like quite efficient.I guess the amount will be credited in the bill of next month.I don’t know what the amount is.But I do know how much I spent on calling them.My suggestion is that don’t use mobile phone to call them,it will be a sufficient cost.

Finally I hope my line could keep in good condition as long as possible. :)

I think you had known that I had an inefficient Streamyx connection in the past 2 weeks.As the technician solved the problem for me on last Thursday,I called customer service department again on Friday to close my report and wondered whether I could entitle any rebate regarding to the case.Well,the officer transferred my call to billing department and I had a positive answer there.

On Saturday,I received a call from TM Net Customer Care Support to confirm whether the problem has been solved and what my feedback is.Once replied bulks of survey,the guy told me that they would begin to process my rebate application and I will have emails when the application goes to further level.

Today,the next day of receiving the call,I caught an email from Customer Care Support.The content is as followed:

Email for Rebate RequestSo the only thing I can do is praying for the approval of Rebate Request and then wait for the coming bill.Guys,don’t forget to ask for the rebate after closing the report next time,ok? :)

It’s true.The polite TM Net technician Nizam came to my house just now and he checked up the line and modem regarding to my problem with playing a portable electrical analyzer.After some complex tests,he called to the DSLAM site(exchange) there asking to change a new port for me.

So we chitchatted and waited the change to be done.He told me that in fact DSLAM can provide 4M speed to me,but because of the old copper lines used,I may only be given the 2M package at this time.However,he still told me that HSBB(High Speed Broadband) project led by TM is really under progress and estimated to be released in June 2009.The fibre optical line will directly be linked in every building with connection boxes and then split out to each house.The Home/SOHO users can subscribe 10Mbps-100Mbps packages and for business users,up to 1Gbps.

I feel excited because it’s never a rumour,it was spoken out from an insider of TM.

How wonderful is!I’ll open wide my eyes and look for that beautiful day.
