Streamyx 4M Combo(Final Update)

In fact I had got a call on September 15th,the day after the installer’s sit visit,informed me that I was not able to get the upgrade to 4Mbps TM Streamyx service.However,I didn’t give it up as I know if I could let them rewiring the 1.75KM copper line to be fiber optics from Central Office(the nearest DSLAM) to my place,I would definitely have the chance to make the upgrade successful.Unfortunately what I thought was so easy.Yesterday I received the mail sent from TM customer service manger who officially ‘refuses’ my request of upgrading.

TM customer service reply From the letter,the customer service manager had mentioned that the issue is due to their infrastructure limitation,but no solutions noted yet.I’m wondering when the so-called near future will be.

Two stuff are in my list of focusing now.

  • When will Maxis be relisted in Bursa Malaysia?I’m interested in making some investments there and willing to gain some gold from it.
  • When will I get Streamyx upgrade to 4Mbps?I don’t think I should be so hard to get that upgrade.However,the fact is it costs a lot of my time till now and nothing happened.
  • When will the people in Padang,Indonesia get recovery both physically and mentally?

I just wish every could be fine.

It has been 10 days since I submitted the upgrading form.However,my plan is still stuck with 2M only.

I visited the nearest TM Point last Friday to ask for the updates of my upgrade and I got a reply that they have tried several times to raise up my account to 4Mbps,but the requests are always failed by the internal system.So I can’t even know when I could get upgraded.

Great!I wonder TM needs to spend such a long time to solve a simple internal issue,how could they manage well for the coming HSBB plans which may cause the system to be more complicated?!

I think TM really has to hire more expertise to take part in their expansion.

Streamyx 4M combo

I’m using Streamyx 2M ADSL currently which costs me RM140(US$40) monthly.However,the most valuable package from Streamyx should be 4M combo which is pricing at RM160(US$46) monthly,but I could gain double download speed.Thus,I decided to upgrade the current plan to 4M one.The application has been submitted in this morning and the technician has set my port at 4Mbps already.

Modem Status The office in the front counter told me that the upgrade will take 7 working days to complete.

I hope TM could help me adjust my account on 4Mbps as soon as possible.Should it be tomorrow?I hope so.

 

UPDATE:

The technician just set the port on 5Mbps to assurance I could get full 4Mbps speed.

Modem StatusI think all hardware configurations have been done.However,my account has not been updated to 4Mbps.I wonder how long the simple key-in work needs to take for.

After the upgrade of TM core network(2)

Ok,the whole work of upgrading TM core network to NGN had been completed by last Saturday.As what I thought,there were no differences before and after the upgrade again.

In some forums,a few people said that it was perhaps a start of HSBB project turning to substantial phrase and thus,we can’t feel any improvements yet.Well,I hope that is the truth.

And I heard the news about AAG(Asia-America Gateway) which will be officially launched in coming August.This is a 2 terabits cable which will be linking the major countries in South East Asia to USA.Once it gets into work,it should provide a much smooth way compared to current congested one.

However,all things discussing here are assumed.I wish the long waiting could give me some wonderful impression in the near future.How do you think about it?
