I had collected my visa weeks ago.

As I know,the visa normally is valid for 35 days from the date of approval.Therefore I have to use this visa before Oct.1,2008.Once I enter into Singapore,the officers at the entry point will decide the length of stay,normally from 2 weeks to 1 month.

My conclusion is to apply visa of singapore outside China is not a difficult thing.You can call to consular service in advance to know about the necessary documents and bring all together to apply for it,it will be successful.

I will visit Singapore in the coming October.As a Chinese citizen,I need to apply for tourist visa first.Hence I prepared all documents in last week and went to High Commission of Singapore in Kuala Lumpur on last Thursday to submit my application.Here are the items we should bring:

1.Passport of China

2.One copy of the page of the passport which contain personal information

3.One copy of the page of the passport which contain visa of current country(if available)

4.Letter of introdcution(issued by company/any other paties)

5.Form 14 which can be downloaded in its official website

6.One white background passport-sized photo

7.Other supporting documents which may be required by consular department

8.RM71 for application which is not refundable

Four days after your submission,you can check the status of your application.If yes,you need to send your passport to the consular department again and get it back on the next day.

So tomorrow I will pick up my passport and I will let you know more details later. :)

I get a brand new Maybank Visa debit card

I went to Maybank KOMPLEKS BANDAR branch applying for a Maybank Visa debit card yesterday.It spent me 1 hour to go through all including to update my personal information.I think if you are a local citizen and you always keep your information updated,you will take only 10-20 minutes to process your application.

If you have a Maybank ATM card currently and you want to apply this new debit card instead of that ATM card,there will be a RM12 fee incurred.In the meantime,if your ATM card has used for more than 7 years,you will enjoy the waive of that fee.

Tune Card

I found that TuneMoney now is promoting its exclusive card-Tune Card with outstanding benefits.

As it shows ‘VISA’ logo and it represent an idea of prepaid,it is a VISA prepaid(debit) card.So it maybe another choice to withdraw PayPal funds because except credit cards,only VISA debit card is eligible to receive funds from PayPal till now. Previously we merely know VISA debit card only can be applied to Public Bank or Al-Rajhi Bank locally.

I don’t know whether it can works for PayPal.But apparently its annual fee(RM9.99) is cheaper than Public Bank VISA Electron debit card(RM24 annually).Any one has interest on it?Give it a try and make a report to me please… :D

Visa Application

I’m not talking about applying visa credit card,but about foreign country entry permit(VISA).I will have a holiday after examination and my girlfriend and some of her friends will accompany me having a trip to Shanghai,China.

They have been quite excited because it just leaves 1 month to that date.And it’s time to apply for tourism visa as now I still have some limited time before exams.Yesterday I went to Embassy of China in KL to take forms and was told that I can help other people to submit their applications as well.

During this week,I will let my buddies fill up the forms and bring to me their passport-sized photos and passports so that I can do this on next Monday and collect them before the end of this Monday.

OK,I should take more time to review my subjects because it’s close to exam dates too.So I need to go through the dark first and then see the light… :)
